The SHG Security Master Service is both a consulting and operations service that will help you build and maintain your own Security Master. We take all the headaches out of keeping a Security Master up to date. We pull in all the data feeds for you, consolidate and analyze all the Security Master data you need.

We also do the necessary research to identify and detail new products.

We then provide either a queryable web interface or direct feed updates to your system of all new securities that you encounter.

What we specifically do:

1. We sit down with you and analyze your data and reporting needs.
2. We then research and present you with a recommendation of data sources/vendors that will meet your data needs.
3. We assist you in acquiring, signing contracts and implementing feeds with these vendors. We are not a data vendor, nor do we redistribute proprietary data. We only use data feeds that you have legally purchased or that is freely available.
4. We operate the feeds on your behalf, consolidating them, doing the queries and the research to bring all of the data together into a single database or table.
5. As you encounter new securities in your daily or quarterly processing we tell you what they are, and what their relevant data fields are. We can do this by sending you updates for only the new securities or by giving you a new, complete, Security Master data set each day that is customized to load into your system.
